About us
make:good is an architecture and design studio involving people in shaping neighbourhood change.

We believe in meaningful processes of local participation, bringing people together to collaborate on the future of an area and its built environment. We use our creative expertise to co-design local solutions as well as effectively communicate ideas and share insight. We encourage open dialogue, harness local assets, build relationships and support communities to create lasting social infrastructure in places.
Our approach
We design programmes of engagement that are effective because they include a range of activities that cover:
INFORM
Methods to inform people that the engagement is taking place.
INVOLVE
Activities to involve people and collect their insight and/or feedback.
INFLUENCE
Ensuring that the engagement outcomes influence the projects going forward.
IMPACT
Designing ways that the activities have impact both in the short and long term.

make:good brings extraordinary quality and inventiveness to the process of engagement, finding creative opportunities to enrich design development and elevate the process of urban regeneration well beyond any obligatory need to ‘consult.’
Alongside clear sighted sensitivity and respect for local communities they bring a joyful graphic quality to their on-site presence that has tremendous reach in public events.
They are particularly skilled at working with young people, and at Plumstead extracted vibrant colourful work from local school children that was able to be applied as considered and beautiful additions to existing infrastructure.
As a result the place in which those young people live now contains character which reflects this specific local community. Offering both celebration and a sense of ownership.
